I’ve seen people have success with this application, but it didn’t work for me. It was entirely too in depth for how I look at my finances, and I’m not a huge fan of budgeting every single penny. Not very easy to understand for me either.

Budget Money Management Tools was able to help me save money and get on the right track financially by keeping me up to date on bills and account information while teaching me to save and spend less. I would recommend using.

There is a bit of a learning curve but once you get used to it, the program is golden. Also, the app techs are always working on improving and they really listen to customer requests. YNAB completely transformed my financial situation; it's a very simple platform with very simple principles that will completely change how you think about money. It's essentially an envelope system but brought to digital form. Their new mobile app is also fantastic.

So completely pissed off that I bought this program - I did have a look at it first but I assumed you would have the ability to change the periods like you can in most software, let alone the fact that it is HIGHLY confusing. YNAB has such a cult following it feels more like an AA program than a money management app. Instead of 12 steps it has four rules and a 9-day program, but it does have the feel of a quasi-religious financial rehab program.
