The cap on rewards spending is $250 per purchase. Literally had been saving all year for a $600 leather jacket only to not be able to make this purchase. Just spoke with "senior leadership" and they said there is nothing they can do. Ha. Total scam. Will be cancelling this card. It's been nothing but a headache.

If you shop at Banana Republic, you NEED this card. First off, there's NO annual fee. Second, the rate of rewards earning is stellar. You can really accumulate points quickly, especially if you shop at BR frequently. The one downside I would say would be this is not going to be a great card for you if you want to use it overseas. I just cancelled my BR Visa card after having been a 15+ year cardholder. They do NOT support card users who live overseas; they require that one maintains a USA phone number (they will not accept Skype or foreign numbers) to send identity security codes. HELL YEAH!! No annual fee and GREAT REWARDS System. Every other month they have promotions such as "use your card 5 times" outside our brands to receive $50 Rewards. If you enjoy shopping at Banana and its sister companies this card is AWESOME. Its my fav card out of the 10 I have. The rewards are the best on these cards!

One of the other things not mentioned: holding a BR credit card gives you exclusive access to [early] sales up to 50% quite often. access to sales + BR points used gets you free clothes basically.
