The BankAmericard Better Balance Rewards Credit Card is designed for thrifty consumers who appreciate cash rewards. If you are willing to jump through a few hoops the BankAmericard Better Balance Rewards Credit Card truly lives up to its name.

The BankAmericard Better Balance Rewards Credit Card is a personal, unsecured credit card. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age; residents of Puerto Rico must be at least 21 years of age. It is not intended for students or for business use.

What are BankAmericard Better Balance Rewards Credit Card's Rates?

The BankAmericard Better Balance Rewards Credit Card has an introductory 0% APR on balance transfers for the first 12 months. After that, the rate goes up, ranging from 12.49% APR to 22.49% APR depending on your credit. There is also a 3% balance transfer to consider ($10 minimum).

Purchases don't receive an introductory 0% APR introductory period and range from 12.49% APR to 22.49% APR.

Are There Annual Fees?

There are no annual fees.

Does the BankAmericard Better Balance Rewards Credit Card Offer Rewards?

The only reward offered by the BankAmericard Better Balance Rewards Credit Card is reflected in its name. For every quarter that you make consistent on-time payments of more than the minimum monthly payment amount, you can earn 25 dollars, for a maximum of 100 dollars every year. Rewards are increased by 5 dollars each quarter for Bank of America account holders.

Are There Foreign Transaction Fees?

There is a foreign transaction fee of 3 percent for transactions made in a foreign currency or which are processed outside the United States.

Are There Late Payment or Other Penalty Fees?

Late payments are penalized up to 37 dollars; the first late fee triggers the Penalty APR. Returned payments are penalized up to 27 dollars.

As credit cards go, this one is pretty good. I always get cards with rewards programs, and I really like this rewards program. Customer support I wish I had the cash rewards version, though. I have been with Bank of America for about a year. Their rewards program is terrific, with a 10% bonus if you deposit rewards into your BofA bank account. They've also been good about raising my credit limit when requested.

BofA has a great rewards program and limits can increased depending on usage and pay history. I would recommend this card if you can pay if off monthly. I don't pay any interest monthly but I earn rewards for travel without blackout dates. I have had this card over 10 years without any issues
