The Barclaycard Arrival World Mastercard with no annual fee is designed for people who travel frequently, especially internationally, have good to excellent credit and want a credit card with high rewards rates, no annual fee and a decent signup bonus.
Its 12-month 0% APR introductory rate on balance transfers makes this card a particularly good fit for people who are carrying a balance. Notice that there is a balance transfer fee, but it still may be worthwhile for people who can pay off their debt during the intro rate period.
What are the Rates for the Barclaycard Arrival World Mastercard with no annual fee?
The rate on purchases and balance transfers is either 15.99% APR, 18.99% APR OR 22.99% APR, depending on the credit history of applicants. However, it has a 12-month 0% APR intro rate on balance transfers made within the first 45 days of opening the account. Cash advances have a 25.24% APR but late payments don't trigger a penalty rate.

The Barclaycard Arrival World Mastercard with no annual fee gives members 2 miles for every $1 spent on travel and dining purchases. All other purchases earn one point per dollar. Redeeming points is easy and flexible. No more black dates, unavailable routes or rooms when redeeming points for travel. Just book your travel with whichever airline, hotel or car rental company. As long as you pay for it with this card, you can use your miles as a statement credit, which gives you an additional 10% back.
You can also redeem your miles as cash back or gift cards, but the redemption rate drops from 1:1 to 0.5:1 and you don't get the 10% bonus. In other words, while 5,000 points can be redeemed for $50 worth of travel purchases it will only only give you $25 in cash back.
What about Barclaycard Arrival World Mastercard with no annual fee Signup Bonus?
The card has a 20,000 bonus miles, if you spend $1,000 in new purchases within the first 90 days. This is enough to redeem up to $220 in travel statement credits, when you include the 10% bonus. This is a substantial signup bonus for a card without an annual fee. However, if you have excellent credit, which you need to qualify for this card, you migh as well apply for the Barclaycard Arrival Plus World Elite Mastercard, which gives you 40,000 bonus miles and waives the $89 annual fee during the first year.

The Barclaycard Arrival World Mastercard with no annual fee is a great travel rewards card. If you have the credit to qualify for it and you really hate paying annual fees, this card is one of the best available. It has reasonable APRs, high rewards rates on dining and travel purchases, a 12-month 0% APR intro rate on balance transfers, no foreign transaction fee, a decent signup bonus and a flexible rewards program you will actually enjoy using.
As good as this card is, there really is no reason to prefer it over the Arrival Plus World Elite Mastercard, regardless of the $89 fee. If you really hate paying annual fee on principle, you can apply for the annual fee version, which waives the $89 fee during the first year and then switch to the “no annual fee” version before the year ends.
