I got this card in college and it was a great first credit card! There is no annual fee and the credit limit is low, but it provided cash back options for the more money I spent. This was a great introductory card and I plan to use something similar when my children enter college.

A premier credit card! Although I've long since graduated from university, I can still fondly remember using my Wells Fargo credit card as a junior then. I would always swipe it to purchase my favourite meals from Starbucks and Subway, among many others. Back then, I needed the Wells Fargo credit card for college expenses. I got approved. Although, the customer care rep made a slight mistake on expedited shipping but it got rectified immediately. I missed a payment and it reflected on my credit score which made me more responsible. The process was easy all through.

I really like that even though I have decided to pursue my career and not return to college, I was able to keep my Wells Fargo credit card. It's a decent card, and I like that you can back up your regular bank account with it for protection. I think it is a good first credit card for most people.

The customer service at Wells Fargo is unbelievable. They keep shipping my card to the wrong address, and have charged me twice for expedited shipping. No, it is your fault! I'm on the verge of just canceling it all together. It is more of a pain than anything.

I've had Wells Fargo for banking for years so when I wanted to build credit, getting a credit card through them seemed like a good idea. I was approved right away with a good credit limit. If you already are banking with them, I don't see why you wouldn't get your first credit card through them.

This credit card is decent enough. For a first card, it's good. But the cash back aspect only lasts a couple months, which stinks. Also, there is a minimum limit to when you can use it. When my credit gets good enough I'll probably look to get another card.

I love this card because if you're responsible, you'll definitely reap the benefits. I went from no credit at all to a really good credit score in the 700's. It's super simple to keep track of and I couldn't be happier with it. Applying was easy and I'm happy with my credit limit.
