APG Federal Credit Union is a unique, not-for-profit financial cooperative with one mission: to help our members build their wealth. If you live, work, worship, volunteer or go to school in Harford and Cecil counties you can be a member. As a cooperative, we’re owned by our members, not stockholders. When you’re a member, you can be assured your best interests guide every product we offer and every decision we make. Since we’re not-for-profit, we reinvest all earnings for our members’ benefit. So we can offer products and services with better rates and lower fees than you’ll find elsewhere.

We look out for your well-being by helping you be well informed about your financial situation. Free online resources, in-person workshops, financial counseling and more are always available to you. We started in Harford County in 1938. And we’re still here, with headquarters in Edgewood and 13 locations in Harford and Cecil counties. Lending decisions, like all our decisions, are made locally. Our mission is to empower our members to use and control their money to improve their economic and social condition by operating our credit union as a member-driven democratic cooperative, not-for-profit financial institution, encouraging thrift among our members, and creating a source of credit at a fair and reasonable rate of interest.
