Personal Property Protection:
This insurance protects the items in your home, like your furniture. If they're damaged or lost, personal property coverage could help you cover the cost of replacing them.
Reimbursed Living Expenses:
This coverage reimburses the insured for the cost of maintaining a comparable standard of living following a covered loss that exceeds the insured's normal expenses. For example, it could include an insured's motel bill while fire damage to the home is being repaired or replaced or until the insured moves to a permanent residence.

Valuable Items:

Made a claim for a damaged roof from wind and hail and they only agreed to pay for a small amount. As it was not possible to match the color of the tile I had to pay the majority of the cost to replace the entire roof. We have been very pleased with Travelers Home Insurance thus far, but we also haven't had to file a claim yet. They work directly with our mortgage company to make renewing and paying our bill very easy. We plan to stay with them long term!

While Travelers Home Insurance is a big bank, it doesn’t offer big interest rates for savings account holders. Stil, it offers access to banking, mortgage and small business specialists, so I might recommend it for someone who is looking for this kind of services.

We had damage to our home during a major storm. Adjuster denied based on "Home settling." Of course, it settled. The storm literally pushed it about an inch. Dropped the policy immediately and found another insurer that was $800 less and the deductible was $1,000 less.
