Very Poor Service – Money Stuck “In Transit” for Over a Year
I had an extremely disappointing experience with this service.
I sent £55 on 8 July 2025 (Reference No. 46024521) via debit card to support a Burmese asylum seeker in Malaysia for basic living expenses. The transaction has remained “In Transit” ever since and was never completed.

MoneyGram money transfer services are a great way to send money to family/friends. There are kiosks locations usually in city markets and/or gas stations. You can also send funds internationally (I think there are fees for the international service). I do think it is a fast and convenient method to transfer funds digitally.

Went onto the moneygram website. Sent money to a family member. It said it was ready for pickup. Person goes to the store and walmart says it is unable to be picked up. This is my second option whenever my first option is under maintenance ???? this is another remittance service that I can recommend especially if you're in the U.S and sending money in the Philippines the exchange rate here is good and the transfer fee is low. And it's fast too.

I Sent money to 2 friends on safari at kenya. 1 friend's money was held for more than 6 days while the other friend's money was held for 3 days. Emailed them couple of times but no reply. That is a bad customer relation.

MoneyGram online money transfer is my favor service when it comes to send money outside of the U.S. I have never had a problem. Each time I cancelled a transfer, I had had my money back in 48 hours. I love their service compared to others.

Moneygram is a poorly executed, sad excuse for a money transfer service. I would absolutely not recommend for these reasons. First and foremost, there are simpler, faster ways of transferring money that don’t require for you to come into contact with anyone unlike moneygram (Cashapp) is one example of a way that you can send your loved ones money instantly. Money gram seems to have just passed the test of time.
The leading transfer app after the western union and has never failed me anytime
I think these complaints I see in some reviews are either not genuine or individuals failing to comply

Moneygram has always proved to be the best when it comes to money transfer. They are available in a lot of major locations, their rates are very affordable and their services are very efficient!
I have been using their services for four years, and I have sent money to over ten states, and it all goes through with no hassle.
