What money transfer methods does Venmo support?
Venmo allows you to send money with the following receive options (options vary by receive country):
- Bank accounts.
How much money can you send with Venmo?
Venmo does not have a minimum transfer amount.
The maximum amount you can send per transfer is $2,999.99 .
What fees and commissions does Venmo charge?
- Venmo offers free peer to peer (P2P) money transactions. However, you may have to pay a fee if you use certain payment options, such as a credit card, or if you exceed their transaction amount limits.
- Venmo does not charge a flat processing fee. Instead the cost varies depending on the amount you transfer.
- There is a processing commission of 3%. For example, on a $1,000 transfer you will pay around $30. This is just an estimate there may be other fees and commissions to consider.

Venmo makes it super easy to transfer money between friends and family. It was easy to setup and hassle-free. I have never had any problems and like that if need be, I can transfer money in seconds for a small fee.

The privacy settings on venmo are unclear. I don't think it's necessary to have people's personal transactions for others to see. It feels invasive and I don't know if everyone realizes that unless they set their profile to private, all of their contacts can see their transactions (not the dollar amount but everything else)

I've only used Venmo to send money, but I haven't had any problems. I like that I can set the transactions as private rather than public, but it is kind of annoying that public is the default setting. Also, it isn't great that your information is shared with third-party firms. In my opinion, there are much better peer-to-peer mobile payment apps, so I would choose one of those over Venmo.

I'd recommend Venmo to others. I've used it for a little over 2 years now and have never had issues. It's been very convenient to use to pay roommates for my portion of our bills every month. I feel confident in their security system that it's very unlikely my information will be compromised.

Venmo is stepping up to compete with the big boys. They have no fees and a multitude of other options other than just transferring money. This Finanancial facility is not clear so from your own checking account to your on Venmo debit card it takes 3-5 days if you want it fast you have to pay fees, so they always say 3-5 days and more than $500 same thing you have to wait

Venmo is the way to go now! We use this in my online group for donations and it's the easiest and fastest way. Just verify it's the correct person you are sending money to and you should have no problem.

I would definitely recommend Venmo. It's definitely the OG of money transfers. So quick and easy. Be careful with the memos because they can be public. Aside from that, no complaints!

100% recommend Venmo!!! I can only say good things about them and I’ve been using them for 3 years. They notify you immediately if someone try’s to hack your account and makes sure it’s really you trying to login in. The money transfers are easy and quick! If you need to lock your account they let you easily.

I have heard some bad stories about venmo, but I personally have only had great experiences. I've been using it for about 7 years now and it is working exactly as expected, and my money usually shows up faster in my account than it says it will. I never carry cash on me, so having Venmo to tip is extremely helpful!
