What we love about Xoom Money Transfer
Xoom makes it very convenient for Americans and Canadians to send money internationally, allowing payments to more than 130 countries across the globe. It also offers multiple ways to send funds, such as electronic transfers, leaving cash for pickup at a physical location, or even a cash delivery to the recipient’s door. Xoom also offers features that let you pay bills internationally.
You can send money using Xoom even if you don’t have a bank account.
What could Xoom Money Transfer do better?
There are drawbacks to using Xoom to send money internationally.
One of the main issues with Xoom is its cost. When you send money, you pay a per-transaction fee. The size of the fee depends on the funding source you use. Sending from a bank account is cheaper than sending from a debit card. The exact fee will vary with the amount that you’re sending and the country you’re sending money to.
Xoom also limits the amount that you can send at one time and each month. Level 1 users can send only $2,999 per transaction, $6,000 per 30 days, and $9,999 per 180 days. Increasing these limits requires going through an identity verification process.

Xoom was founded in San Francisco, California in 2001 and has offices in Guatemala. PayPal acquired the company in 2015 for just over $1 billion to strengthen its international business and to give Xoom users access to Paypal’s financial infrastructure.

Paolo the rudest most unprofessional representative I dealt with in 6 Plus decades on earth. Horrible service 1 hour on the phone promises promises never lets the transaction go through and disconnects me with no explanation. Rude and disgraceful. With a million other ways to send money I will never use these horrible people or their disgraceful Representatives again. They should start by firing him.

A friend I know for 44 years tried to help me out through Xoom. It was cancelled twice even after he called them. They asked him all sorts of invasive personal questions about me, including what the nature of my emergency was. Worst way to send money ever, poor customer service. Can barely understand the CS reps.

I would totally recommend it for sure because I have been using this service for quite a long time. It is safe and secure. I send money to my family overseas and they receive message instantly that the money has been received in their account. Up till now I have no issue or complain with this money transfer service.

I have been using this app for 1 year already for sending money to different relatives and never, never had any problem with the transfer or picking up the money. I'm very glad about the service they give. They track the transfer to let me know when is ready and when it was already picked up. (Also this Product is coming from Paypal Services)

I wouldn't recommend them. In fact, I would highly advise against it. Everyone I know who has used them has had some kind of shady thing happen with their money. They are lacking in morality being part of their company infrastructure. It feels like they are out to gain as much money as they possibly can at the expense of others.

I have held an account with them for years, my experience is poor. They offer no two factor authentication and there always issues sending money and verification.
