Freedom Mortgage was the very first mortgage company we ever used. The only reason why we went with them was because our builder gave us $10K in closing costs to use Freedom. In hindsight, we should have eaten the 10K and went with another lender. We have not had a good experience, and switched very quickly.

The poor response time by this company is a common concern and I prefer a company that puts their customers and their customers' needs first.

When it comes to rates, they give friendly rates I personally got impressed with their offer. However, their customer service is not up to standard and communicating with them becomes hectic.

I have a relative that received a mortgage from them. At the start of the relationship they were very helpful but after 6 months in the service declined from bad to worst and they are simply stuck with these guys.

I hope my previous review posted. The customer service at Freedom Mortgage has gotten very poor. Or maybe the poor service is only reserved for existing customers looking to refinance via streamline.
