They all of a sudden gave me an ultimatum to either downgrade my card or to close my account. They would not provide an explanation. I feel this is a major bait and switch, and against Federal UDAAP rules.

Just a lie. they give you the card and then move you Petal 2 which is basically go to heck and pay $8 a month (8x12=I'm Screwed. Credit age is a SIGNIFICANT part of your credit history. Trapping/scamming people is not right. Hopefully, there will be a plethora of complaints that keeps them from GOUGING their customers.

Review for Petal® 1 "No Annual Fee" Visa® Credit Card

I am on the fence about the Petal 1 Credit Card. While it has up to 10x rewards and will help those with struggling credit scores, the APR AND late payment fees are ghastly! I guess I would recommend with caution to those who needed the help it can provide.
