Since May 21, 1991, when we opened our doors, we've been dedicated to helping members of our communities improve their financial well-being. We are a state-chartered, FDIC-insured, New Orleans-based bank with headquarters at 909 Poydras Street in the First Bank and Trust Tower in the central business district. We have steadily grown our client base and now hold approximately $1.17 billion in assets. The Delta symbol has a long history that dates back to ancient Greece. Scientists use the symbol to mean “change.” The pyramids were built in this triangular shape. Engineers to this day use the shape to add strength. But it also has an important meaning locally: First Bank and Trust is headquartered in New Orleans, Louisiana, at the Mississippi River Delta.
