Renters Liability Coverage:
If a claim is made against you or you are sued as a result of a covered occurrence, your renters personal liability coverage can help to cover the associated legal costs and related damages. Valuable Items:
Valuable personal property coverage protects items such as expensive collections, engagement rings, watches, and other jewelry from theft, loss, or damage.

What we love about Nationwide
Nationwide is a well-known insurance provider that offers many different kinds of insurance. If you’re looking for a single company to work with to get all of your policies, Nationwide is a solid choice.
The company’s home and renters insurance policies come with some extras that aren’t standard on many policies. For example, only offer replacement-level coverage. If things you own get damaged, you only get enough money to replace them in the same condition. Nationwide offers brand new belongings coverage, giving you enough money to replace your belongings with the new version.
What could Nationwide do better?
When it comes to insurance, you want a company with a strong reputation for customer service. Nationwide doesn’t have a poor reputation, but its customer service reviews aren’t the best. It’s solidly middle of the pack.
The company also doesn’t offer the same number of discounts that some other insurers have. You may be able to get a better deal if you work with an insurer that offers a wider variety of discounts. Nationwide’s mobile app also leaves a bit to be desired.

I believe this to be sort of good but it definitely is not the best at insurance. Yes, it does have it own perks and benefits but it really wasn't was I was hoping to find. They do have amazing customer service and are always available. I would recommend this to my friends if they needed something affordable and low maintenance.

Nationwide is true to their slogan, "Nationwide is on your side." Last year there was a fire in the apartment below me. I was lucky that they put the fire out before everything was destroyed. There was a lot of smoke damage though, and Nationwide was there to help me through this terrible situation. I recently moved into my own place from my parent's home and got renters insurance through nationwide as a precaution. Unfortunately, my apartment was broken into soon after I moved in. Fortunately, Nationwide replaces with brand new belongings those items lost. Whew.

I'm not exactly sure if this company lives up to its name. I thought I was covered well for my belongings, but I found there were some exclusions when I went to file my claim and that really upset me. Not that there were exclusions, which I understand, but that no one told me ahead of time.

My condo experienced damage form an electrical storm. My experience filing my claim and getting reimbursed from Nationwide was so-so. They were fairly responsive when I first called, but then their followup after that and getting me my money took too long.

Besides having an excellent insurance, this company has so much educational material on the website that if you read it, you'll be an expert about insurance overall. No doubt about it! Nationwide is definitely on your side. This insurance company has excellent customer service and makes sure to inform me when there are changes that affect me. I am so glad I have them as my insurance carrier.

To be honest, I only signed up for Nationwide because I'm a huge Manning fan. But now that I'm a customer of theirs I am really happy with all the coverage they provide. I've even switched over my other policies and now I'm saving money.

Their representatives are really helpful and their coverage is a little better than who I was with before, but the rates are a bit higher. I guess it's ok though because my last carrier was horrible.

I never thought I would need renters insurance until my apartment building had a major water line break recently and all of my stuff was ruined. I am glad I had a policy with Nationwide - they made it quick and easy to get my life back to normal.
