In our first home, our mortgage was bought and sold multiple times in the first several years, mostly by small companies. When we were finally sold to a notable, big name like Sun Trust we were relived! Our relief was temporary however. To our surprise, Sun Trust sold us after a year! We didn't have any complaints while we were with them although I was disappointed our relationship wasn't permanent.
