They are the worst company ever. They stall delay and play phone tag. The advisor Paula is rude unsympathetic and I have not gotten anywhere w the death benefit on a life insurance claim. Waste of investment and is a complete joke. After multiple months I’ve now hired a lawyer. Having recently applied for this life insurance with Sun Life after being recommended by my sister. I would totally agree that they are really out to help all individuals get the right life insurance for the right budget, I've stumbled upon lots of life insurances companies who try and not help people.

I've been with Sun Life Insurance for a number of years now, because it's all I could get at the time. It's ok, but it's not the best. I spend more money than I'm comfortable and they don't offer much in terms of coverage for what you pay. It is affordable at the moment, but I’ll be reconsidering soon.

The customer service isn't that great. It also doesn't offer life insurance to individuals. Their coverage minimums and maximums aren't listed. They also don't list quotes online for voluntary insurance options. A few good things are that they offer the ability to protect your spouse and children, they also can coordinate your waiver of premium coverage.
