Digital Federal Credit Union, better known as DCU, is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by and operated for our members. DCU was chartered in October of 1979. Since then, DCU has been chosen as the credit union for more than 700 companies and organizations. DCU serves more than 900,000 members and their families in all 50 states. With headquarters in Marlborough, Massachusetts, DCU is the largest credit union headquartered in New England as measured by assets and is among the top 20 nationwide. Members access their accounts at DCU through the Internet, ATMs, telephone, community branches in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, as well as thousands of CO-OP Shared Branch locations nationwide. In fact, half of DCU members never use a DCU branch.

I have mixed experiences with DCU. While on the one hand, they have awesome services, on the other hand, you can get frustrated banking with them. I opened a DCU Free Checking Account last December and it was all smooth sailing until February. I have been extremely satisfied with this bank and and would definitely recommend. Their Fraud Prevention team alerted me for suspicious activity several times. The first two, it was actually me buying high ticket items for my company, BUT the third time there was an attempt to charge nearly $3k by someone in Hawaii. I had to chose the Account type.. so just chose one. But this review applies to overall DCU. I've been member of DCU for over 20 years. It use to be really good. Review for DCU Visa Platinum® Secured Credit Card

I really like how there is no annual fee or hidden fees on anything with this card which is honestly hard to find these days. APR is an average amount and the overdraft protection makes using it with peace of mind easy. The card itself has a classy modern design style and it's easy to add and use with a mobile wallet!
