BB&T Student Checking was my go-to during college. No monthly fees and no stress about keeping a minimum balance. The app was clutch for depositing checks and checking my balance. Overdraft fees hit hard a few times, but overall, it was a solid choice for my student life.

I have a very nice credit score and have never been late or missed any payments and my interest rate is 4.49%.
