I would not recommend this bank if you do not live in the South. From my experience they are pretty much based in the southern region.

I have had a checking account with Regions since 2015 and it has been a great experience. I signed my son up with a Regions checking account and received a bonus. Regions has an option to lock your debit card, to help prevent fraud. You can also deposit checks from the comfort of your home, using your mobile device. My experience with Regions has been very positive and no bumpy roads. If you live in the South, this can be a good Bank to start a Checking Account with and I highly recommend it. The bank also offers checking accounts for college students if you qualify for it. The bank also offers cashback rewards from other merchants.

My checking account with Regions has been my preferred method of holding money for the past three years. I have had no issues with the bank and the tellers in my area are always able to help with questions at hand. This is a good bank for those new to the financial world.
