This has been the worst experience with a financial institution I've ever experienced... A KNOWN-TO-THEM hacker drained my account through their INCOMPETENCE! A genius cust. rep. ACTUALLY msg'd him my ACCT NUMBER Via "Direct Deposit instructions." Not a misprint... I even have copies of it all... They are refusing to follow FDIC. How are they in business still ?? I can honestly say that I purchased the green dot 2 times in the past without any problems. I purchased the same green dot card from Walgreens as usual with about $240.00

Run away! It turns out that the name on a bank account and the card must match exactly before you can transfer money. So I couldn’t just a joint checking account with my wife to load money. Customer service is a joke. I closed the account.

I bought a green dot card loaded $500 ,activated and registered it went to use it and was Declined I called and they said my info don't match I habe riot he receipt and card and internet history but still six weeks later I have no access to my money I filed a report with BBB but it seems hopeless I'LL Let you know

Simple. Easy to use. Exceptional customer service if needed. I've had a few issues over the years but they are always fixed and quickly. If you need an easy prepaid card company, this one offers a good value for your money. Definitely recommend.

I purchased the prepaid green dot Visa to order something online. I put $150.00 on it. Got home and tried to activate it and the website is down temporarily. wait a day try again....still down. Call the the number ...all automated. I have been trying for 3 months to activate this card. Guess what?!? The website is still having problems!!!!!!!!
