Cash back rewards are set at 1.5 percent on every purchase – no rotating categories. There is no limit to the amount of cash back you can earn and rewards never expire. You must have good or excellent credit to qualify.
The Capital One Spark Cash Select for Business card offers 1.5 percent cash back on every purchase, along with a one-time bonus of $100 after spending at least 3,000 within three months after opening an account. There is no limit on cash rewards and rewards never expire. The introductory APR on purchases is set at 0 percent until August 2015. There is also no foreign transaction fee, and unlike many business cards, the Capital One Spark Cash Select for Business card has no annual fee. The catch? You need excellent credit to qualify.
With the BankAmericard Cash Rewards Credit Card, your excellent credit entitles you to 0 percent APR on balance transfers made within 60 days of opening an account, plus all purchases for 12 billing cycles, plus a 100 cash bonus after spending $500 within 90 days of opening an account. The BankAmericard Cash Rewards Credit Card also features 3 percent cash back on the first $1,500 combined grocery and gas purchases every quarter, 2 percent on grocery purchases and 1 percent on everything else. There are no limits to the amount of cash back you can earn and rewards never expire. Bank of America customers receive a 10 percent bonus by depositing their cash back rewards into their accounts. And of course, there is no annual fee.
The Citi Simplicity credit card earns its name from its terms and conditions: 0 percent APR for 18 months after opening an account on purchases and balance transfers, no annual fee, no late fees and no penalty rate. The regular APR ranges from 12.99 percent to 22.99 percent, depending on your creditworthiness. But unless you have excellent credit, don’t get your hopes up for being approved for the Citi Simplicity credit card.
You’ve trashed your credit, either through unavoidable circumstances or plain irresponsible spending. While your bad credit disqualifies you for the types of generous rewards credit cards available to consumers with excellent, good or fair credit, you also don’t have to settle for prepaid cards with loads of fees that won’t help rebuild your credit. Good credit is needed to qualify for the Citi ThankYou Preferred Card for Students.
Do you have really, really bad credit? As long as you do not have a pending bankruptcy case, can verify your identity and pony up at least $300 for a security deposit, you can be approved for the First Progress Platinum Prestige Mastercard Secured Credit Card. There is no minimum credit score, and the card carries none of the processing or application fees that are all too common for credit cards for bad credit. The APR is 11.99 percent for purchases, and 18.99 percent for cash advances. So what’s the catch? There are actually two: the First Progress Platinum Prestige Mastercard Secured Credit card is not available for residents of New York State, Iowa, Arkansas or Wisconsin – and the card carries a hefty $44 annual fee. But given the absence of other charges, the lower APR, along with a nearly 100 percent guarantee of approval, $44 isn’t that high a price.
The Chase Freedom card offers a $100 bonus after spending $500 within three months of being approved. There is an additional 1.5 percent cash back bonus on up to $1,000 spent at grocery stores, movie theaters, and Starbucks coffee shops through March 31, 2015. If you add an authorized user, you can earn $25 cash back as a bonus. An additional bonus of 5 percent cash back is applied to purchases made for purchases on categories that rotate each quarter, and unlimited 1 percent cash back on all other purchases. An introductory 0 percent APR applies to purchases and balance transfers for 15 months. There is no annual fee for the Chase Freedom card, and you can qualify for it with good credit (640 to 740).

In addition, balance transfers made within 60 days of opening an account incur no balance transfer fees. There are no foreign transaction fees, no over-limit fees, the fee for your first late payment is waived, and there is no penalty APR.
