During the pandemic when people lost their jobs comenity bank was not only unforgiving but inhumane. Late fees, no waiver high interest rates. Shame on you Comenity. Will never do business again. They say hardship program! I was denied. This bank is utterly despicable greed category. Tried to settle this and asked for MS. FITZGERALD- supervisor- to remove 2 late fees 40.00 each for missing! I have had this credit card since 2009, because of errors on their website .. ( I paid $100 in May, looked on April showed “0” amt. due, paid min. Due in May $25 ) they now say 2 payments late one in April even though it showed “0” due and May because I paid $25 they said min was $27!! It’s been a terrible experience . I’ve had this card for awhile always paid on time then decided to pay it completely off then close it. They kept trying to charge me. Be very aware!!! I will never open this card again

DON'T do it!!!! My balance was never very high. It got up to about 200 dollars but I was getting emails daily harassing me to make a payment, or saying you are over due when I owed a remainder of 80.00. Every time I mail the bill in within 10-12 days before the due date, they always claim to receive it late and charge the late fee. yet every other bill I mail has arrived withing 2-3 days. I dont cancel the card because it will effect my credit score.
