CNB continues its commitment to the community and to innovation, earning an “Outstanding” on our 2010 Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) exam, and introducing our Mobile Banking app in 2012. During our 40th anniversary year, our assets hit $850 million, and we opened a new branch in downtown Gatlinburg (open 7 days a week in season). We also received the FY2013 “Top Dollar” 504 First Mortgage Lender of the Year award from the Small Business Administration. While celebrating 20 years of in-store banking in 2015, we migrated all CNB Visa credit cards to chip technology. In 2016, we expanded that chip technology to our debit cards, the first local bank to do so, and we opened the branch at 305 New Riverside in Sevierville. In 2017, we introduced a new retail prototype location at 706 Winfield Dunn Parkway in Sevierville boasting a more open and spacious floor plan and a wide range of the latest features in branch design. This same year, CNB earned the prestigious “5-Star Rating” from BauerFinancial indicating that CNB is one of the strongest financial institutions in the nation. CNB started off 2018 with the launch of their new website. The new site is ADA compliant, meaning customers who utilize assistive technology on their devices to access the internet will be able to navigate and interact with our website easily. During this same year, CNB opened a new branch inside Food City on Newport Highway serving the New Center community and a branch next to Kroger in the Seymour Kroger Shopping Center. Throughout 2018, CNB celebrated the Bank’s 45th Anniversary and Billion-dollar Bank milestone with celebrations and prize giveaways at all branch locations including employee appreciation month in February. In 2019, CNB established a market presence in Hamblen County with a grand opening celebration of a new branch in Morristown located at 4320 Evan Greene Plaza. During the same year, CNB relocated its Seymour branch office to a new location at 10641 Chapman Highway. The new branch location has entrances and exits on both Chapman Highway and Macon Lane offering easy, convenient access for clients. In March 2020, CNB opened its third branch in Pigeon Forge inside Food City on Teaster Lane. This new branch offered residents and businesses extended evening hours and convenient Saturday banking.
