Talbot didi not allow me to make a purchase for $ 76 item, even though my credit line was $750, so over $680 still available, because there was a payment due for under $100. After 2nd late payment, they reduced my credit line from $750, t0 $150 !! I just cancelled the card, and will unlikely shop Talbot store in the future. Worst experience ever. Talbots was having a 2-day 50% off sale with free shipping and triple rewards points, if you used your Talbots card. My cr line is low so I paid my card off daily. Will close your account due to inactivity without ever informing you. I could have easily (after covid dies down) shopped for an hour or so, gone up to the counter to check out only to find out at that time that my account was closed. The bill comes in a small envelope that looks like junk mail. My husband accidentally threw it away. So, I incurred a $28 late fee, plus a $2.13 interest charge on an $89.57 bill.
