I’ve had USAA youth spending for several years and have had NO problems whatsoever. I had to file a dispute recently and they processed it quickly.

No monthly maintenance fees and no minimum balance fees. Moderate overdraft and NSF fees. Fairly simple and very reliable to use. Fraud reporting is simple to complete especially for parents (primary users may need to call). Customer service is always very reliable and kind.

A couple of years ago, I had gotten this account for my daughter, but unfortunately it was anything but an easy process. I had several problems with money transfers mostly and because I was not the service member, the company made things difficult for me when attempting to solve problems.
